Throughout my life I have always been a performer. Attending The Sylvia Young Theatre School from the age of 11 and later securing a much sought after place studying musical theatre at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music London.
My career thus far has seen me cover a wide spectrum of the industry, from supporting Showaddywaddy on their ‘Hey Rock ’n' Roll’ Tour in a female vocal harmony group named 'The Corsettes' to taking the lead role as the Live singing voice of Pocohontas for Disneyland Paris to being a backing vocalist on Royal Command Performances working alongside such artistes as Sir Cliff Richard, Liza Minnelli, Olivia Newton John Tommy Steele and Elton John to name but a few...However this wasn't my first time working with the’ Rocket Man’ as I appeared with him in 2004 at Wembley Arena, Birmingham NEC and the Royal Albert Hall.
My break into the tribute world came when I joined a well known Abba Tribute Act which toured Europe culminating in performances in Shanghai. This experience gave me the opportunity to realise my childhood fantasy and perform my own tribute to the legendary Queen of Pop 'Madonna'. I have been fortunate enough to have been able to take my tribute all over the world performing at some truly amazing venues. Throughout this time I have been asked on many occasions to consider performing tributes to other artistes such as Lady Gaga, Adele etc. but have always declined as I believe that a tribute should be exactly that, a tribute act should be able to emulate the vocal of the artiste precisely, they should hold a strong resemblance to the artiste visually and the movement, mannerisms and even speaking voice on stage and interaction with the audience should make the viewer believe that they are almost watching the real thing.
In 2010 I realised that Katy Perry was the artiste for me to emulate, not only had she established herself as a credible pop artiste with a string of hits under her belt, but after performing several of her songs to my biggest critics (family and friends) I felt that I could sound and perform just like her, I began the process of getting costumes made, rehearsals, studio sessions, light show sequenced, photo shoots etc. and here I am all ready for you!
